Sharjah Airport Terminal is a beautiful building that reminds of an Islamic typical infrastructure.
Levels
The terminal facilities are split into a couple of levels:
Ground Floor
The Ground Floor is where the check-in and the baggage claim areas are located, as well as several landside concessions, such as eateries, baggage wrapping, drinking water, toilets, currency exchange, retail stores, prayer rooms, among others.
Transportation options are available on the main level (car rentals, limousine rentals).
First Floor
The First Floor is where Immigration is located, as long as the Food Court and the Duty Free area.

The terminal also provides a Transit Hotel located between the lower and the upper level.
This is where VIP lounges are also located.
